During your stay on Daufuskie Island, discover the historic district with Outside Daufuskie. The 2 1/2 hour golf cart tour follows the sandy roads to significant historic landmarks including the First African Baptist Church, the White School and Mary Fields school. Visit Historic Bluffton. Travel by boat along the same routes frequented by Daufuskie Islanders for generations to the bucolic riverside town of Bluffton, South Carolina. Once a vibrant port along the May River, Bluffton prides itself on its laid back, southern charm. Galleries and artisan studios, as well as eclectic shops and eateries line the 3 block Calhoun Street. Visit the beautiful and historic Church of the Cross built in 1855 on the high bluff of the May.
